Aiconiq Events brought together 100+ leaders from the Baltic startup ecosystem for a bold outdoor-format gathering that fused investor networking, startup pitches, and curated adventure experiences.

Summary

Aiconiq Events delivered a flagship cross-border gathering for Baltic angel investors and startup founders. The event took place on the Latvian coastline and was designed as an immersive one-day celebration — blending curated networking, startup visibility, and unexpected, high-energy coastal experiences.
With 100 invited guests, including 35+ angel investors from across the Baltics, the format combined keynote-style conversations, seven startup pitches, and outdoor connection rituals like Wolftrike drifting, tram-lounge sessions, and windsurfing — all designed to spark dialogue, energy, and partnership.

Challenge

The goal was to create a unique experience that combined meaningful startup exposure and cross-border investor networking in an unpredictable outdoor setting. Aligning investor expectations with unconventional activities — and startup readiness — required precision in both design and guest communication.
Quality control was essential. From low early startup turnout to shifting coastal weather and varying activity preferences, we had to prepare for last-minute changes while keeping the experience premium, strategic, and logistically smooth for high-profile, time-sensitive guests.

Solutions

We created a smart registration and onboarding system, ensuring guests were prepared and placed in aligned breakout activities. A flexible program structure allowed us to respond to weather shifts — though ideal wind conditions meant we delivered the full outdoor experience as planned.

When startup applications ran thin, we quickly activated founder networks, filled the pitch lineup, and adjusted the agenda days before the event to match investor interests. In two months, we delivered a fresh, high-impact gathering that felt both casual and high-level.
